About Plugnotes

Plugnotes is a no-code platform boosted by AI that automates the collection and processing of field data and connects it to the ERP (Microsoft Business Central, Odoo, SAP Business One and others). SMEs in construction, manufacturing, logistics, food and utilities use Plugnotes to replace paper and spreadsheets with mobile workflows that feed their ERP directly. We work with a network of certified implementation partners across Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

The role

We are launching PlugAI, a major development programme to let users build, complete and analyse their operational workflows in natural language. As Senior AI Engineer you own the AI components end to end: model choice, prompt design, retrieval, evaluation and safe execution inside a multi-tenant SaaS product.

</aside>

• Design and ship AI-based generation of forms and workflows from a user's description or from existing documents (PDF, Word, Excel)
• Build retrieval (RAG) and semantic matching on form structures, metadata and ERP schemas, so the AI only uses the context it is allowed to see
• Develop intent detection for user instructions: create a record, update a status, extract from a document, answer an analytical question
• Build conversational data analysis on top of Plugnotes data
• Put safeguards in place: schema validation, confidence scoring, simulation before execution, rollback and audit logging
• Compare and select models (commercial APIs and open source) on quality, cost, latency and confidentiality; adapt them to client terminology with strict data isolation between clients
• Work closely with the full-stack developer to bring AI features into production
